I recently upgraded from quick books pro desktop 2018 to 2019. I have two company files but it only updated one file. How do I update the second company?

It's awesome to hear that you've upgraded to QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2019! I hope you'll take advantage to all of 2019's new features that can help you with running your business.

 

Updating your company files is as easy as opening it in the program while logged in as an administrator. The program should give you a prompt to update the file to open in 2019 and then you'll be on your way. Learn more about how company files are handled in QuickBooks Desktop's different versions here: Company file compatibility with QuickBooks Desktop when upgrading

Hello, that is what I did, but when i go to switch companies, the only thing there is a 2015 file

Hello,when trying to restore a back up copy i was doing it the wrong way.  All is good now
