Hello Dlmm324,

It's awesome that you've connected with your client using QuickBooks Online. It's a fantastic way to work together on their books to make sure that things are just as they need to be for their business's accounting. One of the beauties of QuickBooks Online, including the Accountant version, is that they can be accessed anywhere via a browser or app. I'll show you how.

Logging into QBOA to work with your client is just a few easy steps. Here's how you can do it via browser.

  1. Go to qbo.ca.
  2. Hover over Sign in.
  3. Choose QuickBooks Online Accountant.
  4. Once you're logged in, click Go to QuickBooks at the top of the page.
  5. Choose your client's account.

This will take you right into your client's account, where you can work on their books with the tools you need to do so. Pretty simple, right? If you prefer the QBO app for Windows/Mac, you can still access the client account the same way I outlined above from step 4 once you've logged into the app.

If you're not already connected with your client account in this way, all they need to do is invite you to their books as an accountant user. They can easily do so by using your email to invite you via the My Accountant tab in their books. This article has more information about that and outlines another way to invite you: Invite an accountant to review your accounting in QuickBooks Online. Once you accept the invite, you'll be able to log into your QuickBooks and use step 4 from my steps above to access their account.

Give that a shot and let me know how that goes. I'm here to help!
