I'm having the exact same issue.
What bank are you with? Just wondering if it's a bank issue or a quickbooks issue? I'm with ATB Financial.
Hi there southcountrytire and Lanceisaac,
It's vital that all your transactions be entered correctly for your books to be well balanced. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to import transactions from various banks in order to help save you time with data entry. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with your bank connection.
One step to try when the upload of transactions isn't happening would be to go to the Banking tab, then click on the Pencil icon beside the affected account. From the options shown, click on Edit sign-in info, then enter the login information for your bank's site to attempt another update.
If the error persists, I recommend reaching out to the QuickBooks Online support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view your account details with you in a secure setting in order to provide more detailed troubleshooting steps based on the error you're seeing, as well as notify the engineers of the issue persists. you can reach them using these steps:
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
Social Media: Facebook and Twitter
if you have any other questions. feel free to reach out here.
Thanks for your response! I tried editing my sign-in info and it still didn't work so i will reach out to the support team. Thanks again.
I am with ATB as well
I'm with ATB as well. Stopped working Feb 1st. Last time it happened, had to wait days for Intuit & ATB to fix things on their end. Nothing to do with anything I'm doing.
ATB changed the <TRNTYPE> from having just DEBIT or CREDIT. Now they are <TRNTYPE>PAYMENT or CHEQUE, or INT, DEP, FEE etc.
Changing these in a text editor like "Notepad" and doing a replace fixes it.
This is not a long term fix, but it works for my QuickBooks Clients that are with ATB
