Hello rose-7195,

While QuickBooks isn't specifically created for the Real Estate field, you can still take advantage of the amazing accounting features that help you streamline your business. You can also search for Real Estate-friendly third-party apps that you can connect to your QuickBooks account. You can search for these apps on our app store www.apps.com.
I'll also leave this question open so other professionals in your industry can chime in and share their advice. Otherwise, you're more than welcome to ask other questions in the comments below. I'm here to steer you in the right direction.
Are you a developer or managing rental properties?
Neither, I sell houses.
I'm in the same boat as you, just got quick books but can't figure out how to customize properly for real estate deals. Support has not been that helpful in helping solve this very generic.
Are you a contractor building houses or something else?
I cancelled my QuickBooks subscription. There are some programs that are specifically for real estate but they are too expensive for a small brokerage. For now, I am just entering everything into an Excel sheet and will let the accountant finish year end. Thanks for all your responses.
