My tax table version will not update but my quickbooks is up to date as per the automatic updates how can i download the new tax tables?

There are two things we'll have to check why your tax table won't update, Gaps4vend.

First, make sure that you're using the 2018 version of QuickBooks Desktop. Second, check if the TD1 amounts are updated. If they aren't, please refer to the following:

• If the new tax table was downloaded after July 1, 2018, kindly run a sample payroll or restart QuickBooks to update the TD1 amounts.
• If you have updated an employee's TD1 amounts manually, the latest tax table will not override the previously adjusted amounts. You'd have to manually update the TD1 amounts moving forward.
• If any of your employees are set up over the basic TD1 amounts, QuickBooks will update the TD1 for them with the basic amounts for the previous tax table.
