You'll want to ensure that the phone number linked to your account is correct, margaret38.

It can take a couple of minutes for your code to arrive. If you used your phone number, ensure the numbers 88811 and 97962 aren’t blocked.

If you don’t have your phone, check your text messages on your cell carrier’s website. If you didn’t get a code, on the sign-in page, select I didn’t get an email or I didn’t get a text message to send a new one. Only the most recent code will work. In case you need to reset your login credentials if you get locked out of QBO, just refer to this link for troubleshooting steps: Recover your Intuit Account if you can’t sign in.

You can also choose an alternative method for receiving the code, such as using the Authenticator and enabling 2-step verification. To learn more about managing your Intuit account, please check out this article: Secure your Intuit Account and prevent lockout with extra verification methods.

Also, I've attached this article about updating business information in QBO for your reference: Change your company name, contact info, or Business Number (BN) in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any follow-up questions or concerns about the verification codes, please let me know. I'm here to help.
