Switched to New version of QB Online and cannot get access to my client's file-- Gateway time out 404 appears when I try to login.

Hi there,

Accessing your client's QuickBooks account is definitely important, and I want to make sure you're able to login without getting any error messages. Bad Gateway errors are typically browser-related. Don't worry, they're usually quite easy to resolve.

Try clearing the cache and cookies in your web browser. These stored Internet files can cause bugs in QuickBooks Online and other sites, and they can really bog you down with various errors like Bad Gateway 404. Here's how to clear them out: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If you're still seeing the error message, try using Incognito Mode in Google Chrome. This is a private mode that runs independently from the rest of the browser, and it's often used to isolate the error and get things working normally. Here's more information about what that is and how to use it: Incognito Mode.

If the issue persists, try using a different browser all together.

If you're still unable to access your client's books after trying these steps, please contact our tech support team for further assistance.

Have a great day.
