I'm so excited to hear that you've just subscribed to QuickBooks Online! Thanks for choosing our software. Don't worry, at QuickBooks Online, we're as dedicated as ever to supporting the program, and I can clarify the message you saw about support being discontinued after April 20, 2021.

 

The message about support being discontinued after April 20, 2021 applies only to the QuickBooks Online app for Windows/Mac. Since you're seeing that message, that signals to me that that's the portal you're using. This app is something you could download onto your desktop and use it as a portal to access QuickBooks Online without a browser. The support and updates for this app will be discontinued, but QuickBooks Online is still a supported product and our team can help if you have questions. The change is that we now recommend you use a browser to work with the program because if you run into trouble, we won't be able to troubleshoot with you if you're using the app for Windows/Mac.

 

To log in via a browser, it's a simple matter of going to qbo.ca, selecting Sign In, and then choosing QuickBooks Online.
