AMEX account not connecting. Please fix asap. (105)

Hi there, 


Connecting your account to the bank feeds in QuickBooks Online is a great way to save time in your bookkeeping tasks. Having all of your transactions in one place makes you feel secure knowing everything's been accounted for. This will become even more handy during reconciliations. If you're getting bank error 105 when trying to connect to your Amex credit card account, I'll help you get back on track. 


Banking error 105 means QuickBooks Online is unable to connect to your bank's website. This error usually fixes itself within 24 hours.


To resolve error 105:


1. Select Banking.

2. Select Update.

3. If you still can't connect, please wait 2 or 3 hours and try again.


You should also clear your browser's cache and cookies. These stored Internet files can build up over time and cause bugs in QuickBooks Online and other sites. It's important to clear them out often to avoid errors and ensure optimal functioning of QBO. I have been getting this error since Nov 2020. Every time I try to connect to the help messaging, the reps keep closing my chat and then I have to start all over again.  I have repeatedly tried every troubleshooting method there is. And different customer service reps keep telling me to do the same thing over and over again. 


How do I get issues escalated?
