Connecting your bank account to QuickBooks Online means that you'll save tons of time and effort with your bookkeeping. Having the ability to automatically upload your banking transactions makes reconciliation so much easier, and gives you the confidence knowing that all of your transactions have been accounted for. I'll explain what you should do next if you're running into issues connecting Coast Capital with the Bank Feed.
The steps for resolving connection issues will depend on what error message you're getting. There's tons of great support articles here in the Community that help explain how to resolve various errors, so I recommend searching the error message in the forum for more information (e.g. Fix bank error 108).
One step that's often common among most errors is to try manually updating the account by clicking the Banking tab, then select Update on the right-hand side of the page. This can sometimes re-trigger the upload and bring in your transactions.
You can also try editing your bank's sign-in information by clicking the small pencil icon next to the bank you're using, and selecting Edit sign-in info. This can sometimes relaunch the connection.

You need to stop with these generic answers please. Coast Capital updated their system and QBO needs to update this on their back end. Are you aware of this and when will it be done?

Hi Greg. We've been made aware that Coast Capital Savings has made some security changes, along with other financial institutions. It's our priority to ensure this doesn't cause issues when trying to connect to QuickBooks Online.

No it has not.
I don't know if this is quicks books fault but this is so frustrating. If I a find solution I will post it here.

I would like my Coast Capital bank account to connect to Quickbooks Online. It literally does save me hours when transactions are downloaded instantly. Quite the bookkeeping headache to have to enter things in manually.

This makes my QBO subscription nearly useless. Please refund me two months subscription fees.

I use another online bookkeeping system ( zoho books ) with coast capital .....and it was fixed inside of 2 weeks
now when will this be fixed?

I had hoped this would have been resolved by now. Between quickbooks self employed and Mint I'm less than impressed with how long this has been going on for.
This "Zoho books" is sounding better and better. I might have to look into that. Does QBO have any features that Zoho doesn't?
all i can say is try it ....I use zoho for myself.....but the "real books" are being kept n QBO , as I couldnt find a bookkeeper to work with zoho...at least one local to me
zoho has a free trial ...make sure you are starting with the correct version ....if your canadian ..the CDN version ....it is easy to start with wrong version ...and they cant convert it ..trust me I know
invoicing is better, interface is better, support ..if rarely needed is better....would I put a multi milion dollar org onto zoho ...probably not ....mind You QBO ...sucks , not matter the size of company ..thats my opinion
