The Chart of Accounts (COA) language is determined when the company is created, depending on the specified region or industry. The language display issue is usually browser-related.
It is possible that the browser's language setting forces the French display even though QuickBooks Online's Setting is set to English.
To resolve this, you can access QuickBooks Online using a browser already set to English. Alternatively, you can update your browser's language settings to English.
For Chrome:
- Click the three-dot menu icon (⋮) in the top-right corner and select Settings.
- Navigate to the Languages menu.
- Set the language preference to English.
The steps may differ for other browsers, but you can easily look up the process online.
