Hi there, Saleem. The reason your transactions may appear incorrect could be due to the date format used when recording them. It's important to ensure the format matches the standard expected by the system.

We recommend using the dd/mm/yyyy format. This format is widely used in many countries and helps prevent confusion.

Using a consistent format for all your transactions ensures your records are accurate, easy to understand, and accessible for others or systems that may need to process them later. Please review how the dates are written in your records to confirm they follow this format.

However, if you use a different format, you can choose it in the Select a date format option to match the format on your transactions.

We also recommend uploading your bank data into QuickBooks Online using the Gear icon.

Here are the steps to upload bank data into QuickBooks Online:

  1. Click on the Gear Icon.
  2. Select Import Data.
  3. Choose Bank Data.
  4. Upload a CSV or QBO file containing your transactions.
  5. Map the columns in the file (e.g., Date, Description, Amount).
  6. Select the target account where the transactions should be imported.

This approach is great for importing past transactions or manually uploading data when bank feeds are not in use.
