I can not link my bank account to my quickbooks app

Hello there, Daisy. Have you encountered an error message while connecting your bank to the QuickBooks app? Could you also provide the name of your financial institution?

 

Your bank may currently be undergoing maintenance, which could be preventing you from relinking your credit card account. To verify, I recommend logging into your bank's website to check for any notifications or ongoing issues that may require your attention.

 

If everything's fine after checking. The QuickBooks Mobile app can also accumulate excessive data over time, potentially causing issues in linking to your bank. In this case, we can refresh your iOS application by following the steps below for your device. This action restores the app to its original settings, often fixing issues caused by cached data that interfere with the app's performance.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Open Settings and go to General.
  2. Select iPhone Storage and tap the QBO app.
  3. Choose Offload App. 

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to the Settings app on your device.
  2. Scroll down and select App or Applications.
  3. Find the QuickBooks app and tap on it.
  4. Select Storage and then tap on Clear Cache.

 

Additionally, please make sure your QBO app is updated to the latest version, which can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). If you’re connected to the internet, the app will automatically update and sync with the latest data from the server.

 

Then, reconnect your bank account in your QuickBooks App. If the problem continues, we can uninstall and reinstall the QuickBooks app to ensure it functions properly.
