We don't want you to have this kind of experience in connecting your bank with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Hin.

To sort this out, we can try switching to a different supported browser and try to connect your bank again. To see if the issue is specific to the browser you are currently using.

In the meantime, we can manually upload your bank transactions to QBO.

Follow these steps to upload transactions:

  1. Navigate to Banking, then click on Bank Transactions.
  2. Click on the blue tile for the desired account for uploading.
  3. Choose Link account.
  4. Type the URL or name of your bank in the Search field, then click on your bank.
  5. Input your login credentials in the Login and Password fields, then click Continue.
  6. From the dropdown menu, select the account you want to link and the date range for the transactions, then click Next.
  7. Choose your account type from the Account type dropdown menu, then click Next.
  8. Once you have reviewed and accepted your transactions, click Done.

Once the files are uploaded, you have the option to review and categorize them. For guidance, please refer to this page: Categorize online bank transactions.

After completing the process, reconcile the transactions to ensure your books are balanced and tracked correctly. For assistance, you can refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

If you need extra assistance in connecting your bank with QBO, please don't hesitate to come back to this forum.

@hin1

Try opening your QBO account on any private/incognito browser.

This response is useless. My experience is exactly the same as the initial respondent.

I have recently changed my bank password, now all I need to do is update the password in the bank feed for Quickbooks. The feed has work perfectly well in the past using the same browser. I have changed the bank password in the past then successfully updated the bank feed through Quickbooks. It seems there is an issue with Quickbooks updated code.
