How to remove this pre-setup "Select the payments included in this deposit" in Bank Deposit

Hello hunt3,

It's great to see that you're making use of the Bank Deposit feature in QuickBooks Online! This is a useful feature for a number of reasons, and I'd be happy to go over how it works so that you can get a sense of the options and why you're seeing things like Select the payments included in this deposit on that screen.

The Bank Deposit feature is mostly used for when you have funds that you've allocated to the Undeposited Funds account. When you create a sales receipt or receive an invoice payment, you have the option to tell the program where you'd like those funds to go using the Deposit funds to field. This typically defaults to the Undeposited Funds account when you're just first getting set up, but you can change it at any point. You can think of the Undeposited Funds account as the account that notes your real-life cash transactions that you might deposit to the bank at the end of the day or on a specific day.

When you have funds going to the Undeposited Funds account, you can get them to the bank account you'd like afterward using the Select the payments included in this deposit option in the Bank Deposit feature. This section only appears if you've got funds sitting in the Undeposited Funds, and there isn't a way to remove that section.

I've got a couple of articles here that I recommend taking a look at about the Bank Deposit feature as well as the Undeposited Funds account.

Feel free to let me know why you're interested in removing this option and I'll see what alternatives there are for the steps your taking. You can also submit feedback about it using the steps in this article: How do I submit feedback? This lets our product development team know your thoughts and ideas, which they consider for future updates.

I hope this has been helpful for you. As I said, you're welcome to reply with more details.

Have a great rest of your day!
