Turned on multi currency. Tried to add a bank account in CAD. Selected the currency correctly in the drop down but after saving the account shows USD in the list.

I have verified that: multi currency is on, CAD is a currency in my QBO account, and that I am selecting it properly on the account setup screen. It still shows in the Chart of Accounts list as USD.

I trust that you've checked the Chart of  Accounts to see if there's another account in CAD after the USD one in question. Otherwise, in case you may be experiencing browser-related issues, I recommend troubleshooting this by clearing cache and cookies. Clearing cache and cookies is a great way to clean your browser allowing it to work more efficiently.
