Update your Royal Bank of Canada sign-in info- why this is showing all the time

The repetitive prompts to update your bank's sign-in information and ongoing synchronization issues are indeed challenging, Anjali. The issue indicates that you have to undergo certain verification processes. I'll guide you through the right path to make sure everything is set.

To begin, make sure you have the correct and updated user ID and password for the bank account:

  1. Firstly, open a new window in your web browser and navigate directly to your bank's official website.
  2. Record the web address (e.g., https://www.bank.com) for future reference.
  3. Log in using your user ID and password.
  4. If you have multiple accounts with the bank (e.g., business and personal accounts), ensure you log into the specific account you wish to troubleshoot in QuickBooks.
  5. A successful sign-in confirms that your user ID and password are correct. If you experience an error during sign-in, please follow your bank's instructions to update your user ID or reset your password.

Once finished with the user ID and password, move on to step 2 & 3 in this article to help you in fixing banking errors: Fix bank error 103 in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Moreover, I'll be adding this article which you can use as your future reference once you're connected with your account: Categorizing and matching bank transactions in QuickBooks Online. It helps organizing your financial data by grouping similar transactions into predefined categories, making it easier to generate accurate reports and understand your business finances.

Swing by any time if you have questions about signing in or need support about managing accounts. We're always here to help you.
