How to change bank information used for direct deposit in QuickBooks Online Payroll

You can easily edit your bank information if you've changed banks or want to change the account that direct deposit is paid from in QuickBooks Online Payroll.

The following steps show you how to make the necessary changes in your account:

  1. Go to Payroll and select Employees (Take me there).
  2. Select the employee by choosing their name.
  3. Select the pencil (edit) icon for the Pay section to open the fields for editing.
  4. Locate the question How do you want to pay Employee? and select the pencil (edit) icon to edit the response.
  5. Select Edit Company Direct Deposit Info and update the appropriate account information.
  6. Select Ok.
