RBC bank feed issues (yet again)

Just wondering if anyone else is having issues updating bank feeds in QBO?    Every time I hit update it says it lost the connection and I have to reconnect to the bank (which is even more annoying because I have to wait for the owner to get the answers to the bank security questions)

RBC bank feed issues (yet again)

Hi there,

Syncing your bank account with QuickBooks Online means that you'll never lose track of your transactions. I know how vital it is to access your bank and have your account working as expected. I'd be happy to help you sort this out.

These error messages can sometimes be caused from browser issues. To resolve it, try clearing your cache and cookies in your web browser. These stored Internet files can cling to the back-end of your browser and cause bugs and latency issues in QuickBooks Online and other sites. The steps to clear them is different depending on which browser you're using, so take a look here for the instructions: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

If the issue persists, try using Incognito mode. This is a private web window that runs independently from the rest of your browser. This step is often useful in diagnosing browser-related issues. Here's how to use it: Browse in private. If you're still experiencing problems, try using a different browser all together.

If the issue is isolated to the Bank Feed and the account won't update, try manually updating using these instructions: How to manually update bank accounts.

If you've tried all the steps above and you're still having trouble updating your RBC account, I'd recommend reaching out to our tech support team for further troubleshooting assistance.
