That feature now appears to be available, but it's incredibly buggy. I have attached what I see when I click on "View statements" in the "Reconcile" tab. It looks like statements are being downloaded directly from my bank, but there are several problems.
The whole thing is a dog's breakfast.
QBO Accountant logged in > Opened a company file > Accounting > Reconcile > History by account > There is no link or icon to upload bank statement , attach it to a reconciliation and yet this article indicates it is possible to do so when logged into QBO acountant following those steps. What am I doing wrong or what is wrong with my QBO Accountant access? https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/banking-currency/how-to-attach-bank-statements-aft... this is a highly valued time saving feature. I want it now!

Hi glassr,
Thanks for reaching out here. QuickBooks Online is a superb accounting software allowing you to complete your dally tasks seamlessly. One of the great features available is having the ability to download your bank statement when reconciling your accounts. I'll be happy to provide more information so you can get back to what you love!
As mentioned by others in this thread, bank statements are only available in QuickBooks Online Plus and Accountant. If you're reconciling an account in your client's books, the option won't be available unless the subscription is upgraded. When you're reconciling accounts in your Accounting Firm, you'll also have the option to import statements. However, not all financial institutions support this feature at this time.
For more details on this feature and the banks that currently support it, click here.
I hope you find this helpful. Let us know if you have other questions. We'd be glad to help!
