On occasion, ProFile users may encounter an error during the electronic filing (or EFILE) process.

Review the following support articles to ensure you are set up correctly to EFILE returns in the T1 and/or T2 modules.
When transmitting a return to CRA, an error may occur during the transaction, such as "Failed to initiate transaction":
If the error persists, the cause may be due to one of the following situations:
- high security settings on the computer
- a network disruption
- settings changed via a recent Windows update
Follow the steps listed in the "How to set up Internet Options" article to ensure proper settings on the PC.
