How do I manually change the paycheck amount to pay vacation leave that is not tracked in quickbooks?

I need to pay out an employee for accrued vacation time that is not tracked in quickbooks but was paid a salary.   I have completed the payroll for other employees for this pay period, however it I can not change the amount for retired employee

I want to make sure you get the help you need with paying out an employee for their accrued vacation time. 

 

There's quite a few variables that will impact the answer to this question. It's most important that you're guided in the right direction with recording this in your account, which is why in this case, I'd recommend reaching out to our phone support team. You can reach them at 855-253-1536 Monday - Friday from 9am-8pm EST, and Saturday 9am-6:30pm EST. 

The agents have the ability to pull up your account in their system, which will help them detect what the best course of action will be. They'll also have the ability to remotely share your screen so that you're able to walk through the process together.
