Hi dhonnor,

Managing your employees' wages is an important task. I'll be happy to help with the missed pay. With QuickBooks Online, you can easily run payroll for a prior pay period. Here are the steps:

  1. Select Employees from the left side menu
  2. Select Run payroll
  3. Under Pay period, select the correct dates from the drop down menu
  4. Select the Pay date (keep in mind that you cannot enter a date that is earlier than the date you first started using the QuickBooks Online Payroll service)
  5. Input the pay details as needed
  6. Select Preview payroll
  7. Select Submit payroll
  8. Select Finish payroll

To know more about the QuickBooks Online Payroll Service, check the official community payroll hub.

I forgot to do Payroll for 10/26/19-11/01/19 and it is direct deposit. Can I change it from direct deposit and print their checks today?

If you'd like pay your employees using cheques, you'll need to trun off direct deposit first then use the print cheques option. Here are the steps on how to turn off direct deposit:

  1.     Select Employees
  2.     Select Run Payroll.
  3.     Select the direct deposit icon next to the employee's name.
  4.     Select Paper cheque.
  5.     Preview and submit the rest of your payroll as you normally would.

For more info on how to print chques, follow this article here: How to print cheques. Let me know if you have other questions. I'll be here to help.
