When I try to run payroll it lets me go through everything right up until I click submit. Then I get "Something you're trying to use has been made inactive" Any help ?

Hello, 

 

Running payroll is an important part of operating a small business. Payroll is time-sensitive, and that's why I want to make sure you're given all the correct information on how to resolve this error message as soon as possible. 

 

I've ran into this error message a few times. You'll be prompted with this error message when one of the accounts, customers, items, vendors, or employees has been made inactive. It sounds like you're entering employee pay details, meaning that when in the payroll module, either your customer is inactive, or the account you're using to run payroll has been made inactive in the system.
