You can add your Social Insurance Number to your Personal Information in the Employee Profile, Lindsey.
To enter, here's how:
- Go to Payroll and click on Employees.
- Select your name from the employee list.
- In the Profile section, click Edit for Personal Info.
- Scroll down to the last field, and enter your Social Insurance Number.
- Click Save when finished.

After that, you're ready to run a payroll and issue payment to yourself.
To effectively manage compensations in QBO, set up a payroll history to track records of wages paid, taxes withheld, deductions taken, and employer tax contributions.
