Enabling an employee to record their hours contributes to work efficiency, doris16. I've got a few solutions to allow them to view the sheets, as well as troubleshooting steps that you can pass along.
Since there have been changes, let's start by reviewing the employee's permission by following the instructions below:
- In QuickBooks Time, go to My Team.
- Select a team member.
- Go to the Permissions tab, and tick the Manage my timesheets checkbox.
- Click Save.

However, if you granted your employee to manage their timesheets and the issue persists, log into your account through an incognito or private window. This mode doesn't retain cache, so we can verify if it's a webpage issue. Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use:
- For Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P
- For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N
- For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N
If it works, clear the browser's cache to start with a clean slate. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative to your regular one.
Once resolved, you can approve your team's hours for payroll, invoicing, and reporting in QuickBooks.
Additionally, run payroll reports and customize them to see information about your business and employees.
I'm always ready to lend a hand if you have any other concerns managing employees or correcting timesheets. Do you also require assistance in tailoring the report? Add a comment below and I'll get back to you.
