Hello PFI,

I am so sorry to hear that you are unable to find your transaction, I'll try my best to offer some guidance to assist you. I find when I am trying to find a specific transaction quickly the magnify search bar works best because it will go straight to where the transaction is hiding.

To assist you with working with QuickBooks Online Advanced search please reference the link below:

Search For Transactions
https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-ca/getting-started/search-for-transactions/00/262316

Once you are able to locate the transaction with the advanced search it might help understand on which account it landed in.

I hope the advanced search works to help track down you transaction! Please do not hesitate to reach out, I'd be more than happy to assist.

Have a great rest of your weekend.

Kindest Regards,
Lourdes Fernandez

Hi PFI. Seeing your payroll transactions helps provide a visual reference of how your business is doing especially when running reports. Lourdes has provided helpful steps which show you how to locate your transactions with ease. I also recommend making sure the payroll was ran correctly and I trust that you have checked that already. For reference, I encourage you to check out this helpful video tutorial which shows you how to run your payroll and enter enter an employee's pay cheque. I hope this info helps, feel free to ask questions.
