employees ca no longer enter their daily or weekly timesheets on their phone - how to help them with this

User roles, access rights, and the app's version require reviewing to rectify this situation and allow employees to enter daily or weekly timesheets in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) mobile application, @hdaven63. I will elaborate further on the process and help address your inquiry.

 

Before anything else, I'd like to know if your employee encounters a specific error message when entering daily or weekly timesheets using the application. Additionally, the admin or manager of the company file must grant their employees Mobile Time Entry permission for Workforce app usage. Otherwise, if not approved by the admin, employees will receive an error when attempting to clock in on the application. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the web dashboard, and select My Team.
  2. Open the team member profile, and select Permissions.
  3. Turn on Mobile time entry.
  4. Once you sync, your employees can start tracking time in using the application.
