For QB Online I am trying to adjust the date for the first run of payroll in the set up section and it is blacked out. Any ideas on how to change this?

For QB Online I am trying to adjust the date for the first run of payroll in the set up section and it is blacked out. Any ideas on how to change this?

QuickBooks Online Payroll is a handy add-on to QuickBooks Online that allows you to run payroll and pay your employees via direct deposit or paper cheque. It also simplifies the process of remitting your payroll taxes by calculating rates for you and preparing forms. I'm glad you've opted to use our payroll offering to pay your employees, but it's important that you're able to finish the set-up process successfully. Let me explain what's going on.

 

Occasionally the images and files stored in the app or your browser's cache and cookies can cause things to slow down or produce errors. When this happens it's important to try a variety of different browser or app troubleshooting steps to ensure that you can get back to business. Please try the steps below and then give the payroll set-up another shot.

 

 

If after attempting the steps above, you're still unable to adjust the date for the first run of payroll in the payroll set-up, reaching out to our support team will be the next step.
