QuickBooks Online offers two awesome payroll services, Standard Payroll and Advanced Payroll, which help you pay your employees easily and efficiently. To check if your payroll subscription is active, follow these steps:

 

If you're using QuickBooks Online Standard payroll:

  1. Select the gear icon.
  2. Select Account and Settings.
  3. Select Billing and subscription.
  4. Check the details in the Payroll section.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Advanced payroll:

  1. Select Apps from the left menu.
  2. Select My apps.
  3. Check if the QuickBooks Advanced Payroll powered by Wagepoint app is visible.

If you're not able to run payroll and use the functions, clearing the browser’s cache and cookies can fix the issues. You can do so by following the steps in this article. If you're still having issues running payroll, call our phone support team at 1-855-253-1536 for more troubleshooting. Our agents are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. EST.

Is the payroll feature available on an iPad in Canada? Be it thru an app or logging in online?

I can appreciate the convenience of being able to work on your iPad and can absolutely help you with this.

 

QuickBooks Online's payroll feature isn't available through the mobile app, however you'll be able to access it if you go through a browser on your iPad instead. Using the browser, you'll have access to all the features in the program, whereas the app is more limited. Simply keep in mind the browser requirements and you should be good to go. Hello there. It's important your staff gets paid on time and I'll be happy to assist with making sure that happens. Thanks for mentioning you signed up for Standard Payroll as the steps provided above are for Advanced Payroll. In order to run payroll click on Payroll on the left navigation menu and from here, you'll get an option to either set up payroll or run payroll. Here are some helpful resources related to payroll:
