how can i change from 5-day model to 2-day model in payroll

Before we proceed, please note that if you wish to switch back to a faster funding option after switching to a 5-day funding option, you must wait at least 60 days and complete at least four payrolls from the time your 5-day funding became effective. Do this as a last resort and check out Get help if you’re over a direct deposit limit for other options.

To make this change, please follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your QBO Payroll account.
2. Go to the Gear icon.
3. Under Your Company, select Payroll settings.
4. Scroll down until you see the Direct Deposit section.
5. Click the pencil icon to edit the payroll.
6. Select Request same-day payroll, then follow the prompts.

Requests will be reviewed within one to two business days, and updates will be sent from QBO@intuit.com to the email of the payroll principal officer.
