how do i change the historical data entered for payroll if you made a mistake?

You can only make changes to payroll history during the initial setup process and haven't created any paycheques. If you've already created paycheques, reach out to QuickBooks support to make changes to your pay history.

Here's how to edit payroll history if you haven't created any paycheques:

1. On the left navigation, go to Payroll.
2. Choose Overview.
3. And click the edit pencil icon next to your payroll history.

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
