How do I mark an employee exempt from Canada Pension?

Welcome to the Community, @anniesetransfer. You can mark an employee as exempt from Canada Pension Plan (CPP) in QuickBooks Online Payroll by updating their profile under the Tax withholding section.
 

Here’s how:
 

1. Open the link to access the steps in the product.
2. Select the employee you want to update.
3. In Edit employee details, click the pencil icon next to Tax withholdings.
   
    
4. Scroll to Tax exemptions and expand the section.
5. Select the box for Canada Pension Plan (CPP).
   
    
6. Click Done to save your changes.
