in my payroll, it says "action required, your account is on hold". how do I fix this and why is it there?

I have no been using quickbooks for payroll in about a year, as we had our accountant doing it. we may go back to using quickbooks but it says our account is on hold.

This could be due to outdated information, such as expired state tax IDs, unemployment rates (which change annually), or bank authorizations that may need re-verification for compliance, especially in relation to FINTRAC.

 

To resolve this issue, you’ll need to complete and submit the necessary documents.
