We've got some troubleshooting steps to perform when your employees are unable to clock in the day after you approve hours in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Navida.
To ensure employees can continue clocking hours even after payroll is approved in QuickBooks Online (QBO), we need to ensure that the "Allow team members to manage their timesheets" setting is enabled and the "Allow team members to track time on the mobile app" setting is also enabled in QuickBooks Time. Here's how:
- In QuickBooks Time, select Company Settings,
- Choose Time Options and select Time Entry.
- Click Allow team members to manage their own timesheets, and select Save. By default, this turns on (and greys out) mobile time entry permission for all team members.

If you are unable to edit a cheque due to the reasons listed above, please contact our Payroll Support Team. They'll pull up your account in a secure environment and they'll be able to help you fill out a payroll edit request to add or change these pay totals. You can reach out to them with these steps:
- Go to the Help menu in QuickBooks, then choose the Search tab.
- At the bottom click on Contact us.
- Enter the keyword Account Management and Billing in the What can we help you with? box.
- On the next screen, scroll down to How would you like to connect with us section.
- Choose your contact options.
- When using the chat option, make sure to enable pop-up windows. The chat box will appear at the bottom right section of your monitor, and an agent will be with you shortly after.
