How do I remove Wagepoint part way through setting it up? (we've decided not to use it but there doesn't seem a way to delete the set up!)

Hi there,

Working with QuickBooks Online helps to make your business bookkeeping a breeze! This is made even more simple with the help of our Payroll programs. It's great that you've given Advanced Payroll powered by Wagepoint a try. If you've decided that it's not the right fit, you can remove it from your account quickly and easily. I'll explain how.

All you have to do is unsubscribe from the program from your Apps section. Click the My Apps tab on the left navigation menu. You'll then see Wagepoint in the list, and you can simply click Disconnect. This will remove the program from your account.

If you'd like to give Standard Payroll a try instead, follow these steps:

1. Click the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Billing & Subscription.
3. Look for the QuickBooks Standard Payroll.
4. Click Subscribe. If you do not already have a credit card on file, you will be prompted to enter Payment information.
5. Click Subscribe when finished.

Note: your QuickBooks Online subscription comes with a 30-day trial for payroll.

For more information about the differences between the two payroll programs, take a look at this article: Standard and advanced payroll features.

If you have any other questions, please reach out to our tech support team.

Cheers.
