Hi lonniehgddg-gmai.
Being able to pay your payroll liabilities is imperative when running payroll and keeping your books up to date. I'd be happy to help to show you how easy QuickBooks Online makes getting this payment applied.
The first step to applying a payroll liabilities payment is to make sure they're set up correctly. I recommend following the steps in this article to verify that the WSIB was applied correctly and tracked to the right account. Once you verify the liabilities were created and applied correctly you can then follow these steps to apply a payment to the account.
Once the payments are made you're good to go.
If you have any questions let us know and we'd be happy to help!
I have followed these steps to try and record a WSIB payment without success. I paid WSIB directly with Credit Card but could not select an account (the credit card account I used) to apply the WSIB Payment to when I recorded it. Because of this there is now no way for me to match the Credit Card transaction in the Banking tab to this WSIB Payment. Is there a way to go about this? Am I missing something?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
