I can not get the withheld vacation pay to print on a paystub. It use to and all the proper items are checked off, anyone have this problem?
Welcome to the QuickBooks Community! Since this feature was working before, let's check the Pay Stub & Voucher Printing preferences. If this option is unchecked, QuickBooks will not display the vacation pay balance on the paystub.
To check this, navigate to Edit > Preferences > Payroll & Employees > Company Preferences > Pay Stub & Voucher Printing, then make sure that Vacation Pay ($) is checked.
Once that's done, you should be able to print your vacation pay on your pay stub.
Keep us posted if you need anything else.
Thank you for that, I have done all that, even unclicked that and re-clicked and restarted the computer and QB, still nothing. It looks as if it should print but doesn't. This all started since I did the update this week.
Thanks
Tina
Since your preferences are already set, the recent update may have caused a technical conflict with your print components. You can download the QuickBooks Tool Hub to repair these functions.
Once installed, close your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) and open the Tool Hub. Navigate to the Program Problems tab and select the QuickBooks PDF & Print Repair Tool. This process takes about a minute to reset the background components that format your pay stubs. Once finished, reopen your QBDT and try printing again.
If the vacation pay still doesn't appear, you may need to manually rename your QBPrint.qbp file to QBPrint.qbp.old. This forces QuickBooks to create a fresh, uncorrupted print settings file.

Should the problem persist, it’s best to reach out to our QuickBooks Desktop Live Support team. They can thoroughly review your account to determine what’s causing the issue and provide the next steps to resolve it.
I look forward to hearing your updates after you download the Tool Hub. If you have any further questions about navigating QuickBooks Desktop, please don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help you any time.
