Payment methods and billing cycles
Sign up for QuickBooks Online using Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and even PayPal.
You can pay monthly or save 10% with annual payments. To resubscribe in an inactive account, use the same payment method and billing frequency as before. You can switch to a different payment method and billing frequency after signing up again.
Note: You can first sign up for a monthly subscription and finish the 30-day billing cycle before you switch to annual billing.
Notes on billing:
- The billing history will be displayed in chronological order starting with the most recent bill.
- Billing statements are visible the day after the billing date, not the same day.
- If you signed in as an Accountant you won't be able to download the billing Portable Document Format (PDF) file for a client who pays for their own subscription.
Update or change your payment method

Update your payment information with Apple Billing

iTunes may charge a new card when your card issuer updates your details. They make sure that services like Apple Music subscriptions keep going even with a new card.
Sometimes, charges may still happen on expired cards. If you have any concerns, contact your card issuer or bank.
