EFILE a T1 T1134 return in Pro Tax

Pro Tax users can electronically file (EFILE) the form T1134 - Information Return Relating to Controlled and Not-Controlled Foreign Affiliates for clients in the T1 module.
The T1134 return should be submitted electronically (EFILE) before filing the T1 return.

- Open or create a Pro Tax T1.
- Search for the T1134 form in the Go to… search field, or click the Add new form, slip or letter button and add the T1134:
- Click on the form. The T1134 form opens:
- Complete the form.
- Select the option T1134 under the EFILE dropdown menu.
- Click the OK button when presented with a request for confirmation.
If the return transmission is successful, ProTax displays a confirmation number. Retain this number for your records.
If the return transmission is unsuccessful, ProTax displays any errors identified by the CRA:
- Correct any errors and resubmit the return.
Amend a T1134 return for a Supplementary Deletion
Pro Tax users can electronically amend a T1134 return that underwent EFILE and needs to be amended.
Note: An amended return can only be filed electronically if the original return was filed electronically.
- Duplicate the T1 return.
- Open the return.
- Select the Duplicate return option under Return actions.
- Open the Supplementary to be amended.
- Select If this is an amended return, checkmark this box:
- Select the option T1134 under the EFILE dropdown menu:
- Select the OK button when presented with a request for confirmation.
If the return transmission is successful, Pro Tax displays a confirmation number. Retain this number for your records.
If the return transmission is unsuccessful, Pro Tax displays any errors identified by the CRA:
- Correct any errors and resubmit the return.
