Disable 2-step verification
by Intuit• Updated 1 year ago
Intuit's 2-step verification (also known as 2-factor authentication) is a security measure intended to confirm someone signing in to an account using their login ID and password.
2-step verification employs an additional unique code provided only to the person with the assigned login ID and password. Disabling 2-factor authentication is not recommended, for security reasons.
If you absolutely must disable 2-step verification in your QuickBooks Online account:
- Navigate to accounts.intuit.com.
- Log in using your QuickBooks login ID and password.
- Navigate to the 2-step verification section.
- Select the option Turn Off.
