Add or change your personal info in QuickBooks Workforce

Find out how to add your personal, T4, and bank account info for your new employer online.

If you were recently hired by your employer, they may have invited you to add some of your personal info online through QuickBooks Workforce. 

If you need to make any changes to your personal info, you can also do that in QuickBooks Workforce.

Note: Adding or changing your info in QuickBooks Workforce isn’t available to everyone. It depends on the payroll service your employer uses. 

Select what you'd like to do with your personal info:



Add your personal info

Look for the email invitation from your employer. 

  1. Select Get set up or Complete setup now (or Sign in).
  2. Fill in all info: personal, bank details, and tax withholding. Bank account only appears if your employer has selected to pay via direct deposit.
  3. Check all of your info to make sure it's correct and sign your T4.
  4. Select Save or Submit.

Once you submit, your info is saved and your employer can see it.

View your personal info

  1. Sign in to workforce.intuit.com. 
  2. Go to the Profile menu. 

Here you can view your:

  • Name
  • Address
  • Birth date
  • Gender
  • Bank details
  • Federal and provincial tax withholding info

Change your personal info

You can make changes to the following info:

  • Name
  • Address (if it's in the same province)
  • Birth date
  • Occupation

You can also upload profile pictures:

  • Employers and employees can update the picture.
  • Only one picture will be saved and will override previously uploaded pictures.
  • Employers are able to turn on or off the ability to upload photos on the employee side
  • Note that we do not monitor the content of the photo.

If you moved to a new province, need to change your bank account, or Social Insurance number, contact your employer.

If you need help understanding or filling out your tax withholding info, it’s best to talk to a tax professional. Your employer and Intuit can’t provide tax advice or help filling out the form. 

Your employer will get an email with the changes, and can see the changes in their payroll product.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change my email address or password

Note: If you change your email or password, this will change your sign in with TurboTax, Mint, or other Intuit products you may use. Updating this won’t change the address your employer has on file.

Here’s how to change your email or password for your Intuit account.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. You will be redirected to Intuit account-manager page.
  3. Go to Settings ⚙.
  4. Select Account settings.
  5. Select Sign in & security or Personal info to change your email address or password.

How do I change my personal info?

You’ll need to contact your employer to make changes to your TD-I, or bank account info. Your employer can follow the steps in Add or edit an employee.

How do I delete my account?

If you want to delete your personal data, you can make a request. Note that once your data is deleted, we won't be able to get it back for you.

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Workforce.
  2. You will be redirected to Intuit account-manager page.
  3. Go to Settings ⚙, and select Account settings.
  4. Select Data privacy.
  5. Select Delete, then select Make a delete request.
