How to submit or cancel a Business Consent in Pro Tax (T2)

Pro Tax allows users to submit or cancel a Business Consent for T2 modules.
In this article, you'll learn how to:
Submit a Business Consent for T2
- Open Pro Tax. The business consent is cancelled.
- Enter the search term “business”. Select the option Add BusinessConsent/RC59EFILE or Add BusinessConsent/RC59XEFILE when it is presented. The BusinessConsent – Business consent authorization opens.
- Enable the Enable printing and EFILE of this authorization request checkbox. The business information form displays.
- Complete the business information form.
- Acquire the taxpayer signature on the form and retain the signed form for your records.
- Select the BusinessConsent option from the EFILE drop-down menu. The business consent submits.
Cancel a Business Consent for T2
- Open Pro Tax.
- Click Go to... or press + + S. The Search field displays.
- Enter the search term “business”. Select the option Add BusinessCancel/RC59EFILE or Add BusinessCancel/RC59XEFILE when it is presented. The BusinessCancel – Cancel business consent opens.
- Enable the Enable printing and EFILE of this cancellation request checkbox. The business cancellation request form displays.
- Complete the cancellation request form.
- Acquire the taxpayer signature on the form; retain the signed form for your records.
- Select the Cancel Business Consent option from the EFILE drop-down menu. The business consent is cancelled.
