EFILE a Pro Tax return for an inactive corporation

For a corporate return
- Navigate to the Info page in the return.
- Ensure the question Is the corporation inactive? in the Type of business section has the Yes option selected.
- Sign-off on any errors in the Active Auditor.
- EFILE the return.
For a "nil" corporate return
When creating a nil corporate return for an inactive corporation, some RSI errors may display:
● “T2 RSI #1250001 S125#1 The corporation did not file Schedule 125,”
● “RSI 2000150 T2 The corporation has not provided the net income or the loss for income tax purposes at line 200300.”
- Navigate to the Info page in the return.
- Ensure the question Is the corporation inactive? in the Type of business section has the Yes option selected.
- Sign-off on any errors in the Active Auditor.
- EFILE the return.
