EFILE a Pro Tax return for an inactive corporation

For a corporate return

  1. Navigate to the Info page in the return.
  2. Ensure the question Is the corporation inactive? in the Type of business section has the Yes option selected.
  3. Sign-off on any errors in the Active Auditor.
  4. EFILE the return.

For a "nil" corporate return

When creating a nil corporate return for an inactive corporation, some RSI errors may display:

● “T2 RSI #1250001 S125#1 The corporation did not file Schedule 125,”
● “RSI 2000150 T2 The corporation has not provided the net income or the loss for income tax purposes at line 200300.”

  1. Navigate to the Info page in the return.
  2. Ensure the question Is the corporation inactive? in the Type of business section has the Yes option selected.
  3. Sign-off on any errors in the Active Auditor.
  4. EFILE the return.
