Download the T2 Notice of Assessment to Pro Tax

If you have filed a corporate return, you can now download a copy of your Notice of Assessment (NOA) from your T2 return directly into QuickBooks Online Accountant Pro Tax. 

1. In Pro Tax, open the T2 return with the NOA you need. Under the Return actions menu, select CRA Auto-fill my Return.
2. Select Visit CRA website. The client’s business number will automatically populate based on the open return.
3. Select Next.
4. The CRA connects with Pro Tax and a window displaying client data opens in Pro Tax, allowing you to select what information you wish to download. Select Notice of (re)assessment to download the NOA.
5. You can also choose the year of the Notice of (re)assessment.
6. A summary displays in Pro Tax.
7. Selecting the Notice of Assessment displays more details.
8. Select Import selected and then Continue when the data is finished importing.
9. Imported data will display in yellow fields in the return. After closing the file if you want to see the data imported again, you can open the Data Import worksheet. To save a copy of the NOA to your workstation, you can print a PDF.
