Federal and provincial labour laws when using QuickBooks Time

When considering certain automatic settings within QuickBooks Time, such as break insertion or timesheet rounding, note that you are responsible for these choices, and that some may not comply with federal or provincial labour laws.

Federal and provincial labour laws often require employers to pay for any time it requires or permits the employee to work regardless of whether that time is scheduled or approved. When deciding whether or not to select these types of settings, we recommend that you consult a labour/employment attorney in your country.
