Catastrophic Error when Batch filing returns

Users getting 'Catastrophic Error' when trying to Batch EFILE T1 returns

 Issue:


Customers may encounter an error when attempting to batch T1 EFILE/TP1 Netfile using Client Explorer in ProFile R4.

 

Coupled returns that used Auto-fill my return or Revenu Quebec import in R3 or R3.5 may be affected by this issue.

 

Workaround:

 

Do not  use Client Explorer.  EFILE returns individually.

 

Or

 

Save returns in R4 before batch filing.

 

Note:

 

If you already encountered this error,   search both ?Ready to transmit? and ?EFILE Eligible? returns in your file database and retry the transmission.
