I have an error 4004 whenever I open ProFile

Description

When Online Sync has been enabled in ProFile and an online account hasn't been setup and ProFile is opened a 4004 error will occur.


What is happening

When Online Sync has been enabled in ProFile and an online account hasn't been setup, a 4004 error will occur when you open ProFile.


How to fix the problem

Next to the Search box is the Cloud Icon. If the Cloud icon is green, then it has been enabled.

If you are not using ProFile's online services, then it is okay to disable ProFile Online Sync.

  1. Left-click on the green Cloud Icon to disable it.
  2. It will then change color to gray with red x.

This will stop ProFile from trying to connect to the Cloud and will prevent the 4004 error.
