The following steps should only be used to change:
- Taxpayer name/Business name/Trust name (for T1, T2, and T3)
- SIN/BN/Trust number ( for T1, T2, and T3)
- Year end/DoB (for T1, T2, and T3)
To make changes to the identification section of the return:
1. Ensure only the OnePay return that needs the change is open.
2. Confirm under File -> Properties -> Actions that the return has not undergone a successful EFILE.
3. Navigate to the ProFile website and download a free trial license.
Note: The license arrives immediately. If the website gives an error when trying to acquire the license, switch browsers and try again.
4. Navigate to ProFile -> Help -> Manage Licenses
5. Enter the trial license.
6. Make the required changes to the return.
7. Navigate to Help -> Manage Licenses -> Details.
8. Delete the trial license.
9. Repurchase the OnePay license.
