Are you frequently visiting the same locations? Simplify your trip tracking and add them as favourite locations.

When it’s time to review your trips, you can quickly categorize them as business or personal trips. Here's how to add and manage favourite locations in the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.



Add favourite locations

Start by creating your list of favourite locations. These will auto-populate when it comes time to review your trips.

  1. Open the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  2. Tap your Profile.
  3. Tap Settings.
  4. Tap Manage favourite locations.
  5. Tap Add favourite location.
  6. Enter the address of the location you’d like to save.
  7. Name the location, then tap Add.
  8. Tap Save.


Create favourite locations from manual trips

If you’re entering a new trip manually, you can quickly make the location a favourite at the same time.

  1. From the Mileage tab, tap Plus (+).
  2. Tap Create trip.
  3. Enter the date, distance, and purpose of the trip.
  4. Enter the address you’d like to save.
  5. Tap Add to favourite locations.
  6. Name the location, then tap Save.
  7. Tap Save again.


Edit a favourite location

  1. From the Profile menu, tap Settings.
  2. Tap Manage favourite locations.
  3. Tap the location you’d like to edit.
  4. Edit the address or name, then tap Save.

If you want to remove a location from your favourites, tap Remove from favourites and then tap Remove.
